Tersan Shipyard operates from two key locations in Turkey, with a strong focus on ship repairs, maintenance, and retrofits. The Tuzla facility in Istanbul serves as a dedicated repair yard, strategically located in one of the country’s busiest maritime regions, enabling fast and reliable service for both international and domestic vessels. The Yalova yard, situated on the Marmara Sea near Istanbul, supports large-scale repair projects alongside its newbuilding operations, with direct access to deepwater channels. This dual-site setup enhances Tersan’s capacity to deliver efficient and flexible repair solutions across a wide range of vessel types.
Facilities
The Yalova facility serves as Tersan’s main repair and docking site, covering over 300,000 m² of land with 2,000 meters of coastline. It is equipped with two large floating docks, heavy lift cranes up to 500 tons, and extensive steel, piping, painting, and outfitting workshops. With its scale and infrastructure, Yalova is capable of handling a wide range of complex repair and retrofit projects for large commercial, offshore, and specialist vessels.
The Tuzla yard, located in Istanbul, provides additional repair capacity and is equipped with a floating dock, repair pier, and dedicated workshops for steel, mechanical, and electrical repairs. This facility supports dry docking, maintenance, and emergency repair operations, particularly for smaller and mid-sized vessels.
Together, the Yalova and Tuzla facilities enable Tersan to deliver efficient and reliable ship repair solutions across a wide range of vessel types and technical requirements.
