Innovative Solution: ROG Habitat
A highlight of ROG’s innovation is the ROG Habitat, a solution enabling safe hot work and underwater repairs without the need for dry-docking or gas-freeing the vessel.
- The Habitat creates a safe, over-pressured work environment by pumping air out of the non-EX zone, allowing hot work to be conducted safely on chemical tankers, LNG, LPG vessels, and other hazardous environments.
- Versatile and Portable: Fire-retardant panels can be assembled in any size and configured around piping and equipment, adaptable for use in any port or shipyard, especially for urgent repairs.
- Deployment and Support: ROG can dispatch the Habitat with one or two supervisors to oversee the repair, allowing local service engineers to work safely. Alternatively, ROG’s riding teams can be sent to perform the repairs directly.
- This solution significantly reduces downtime and improves safety for complex hot work in hazardous areas.
Quality and Safety
ROG Ship Repair maintains rigorous quality, safety, and environmental management standards, certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 3834-2, ensuring that every project meets international best practices.
