ASMAR operates shipyards across several key Chilean ports, with its largest and most advanced facility based in Talcahuano. Strategically positioned along the Pacific coast, Talcahuano offers excellent maritime access and is supported by robust industrial infrastructure, making it an ideal hub for ship repair and construction in the region.
Facilities
The Talcahuano yard features extensive capabilities, including multiple dry docks, floating docks, outfitting piers, and fully equipped workshops for complex repair and construction projects. Its main dry dock measures approximately 220 meters in length and 35 meters in width, allowing the shipyard to accommodate a wide variety of vessel sizes, from naval ships to commercial vessels.
